Q?
Is it safe to play? Can I exit the room during the game? What if I’m claustrophobic?
-
A.
Your safety is our top priority! You may exit the room during any point of the game. The game is all about solving puzzles to succeed. Many people who are claustrophobic have reported that they felt no symptoms of claustrophobia in the rooms. However, if someone feels unwell for any reason, the doors are unlocked. Feel free to exit and enter as much as you like. Be aware, the clock does not stop counting down! Leaving the room doesn’t count as ‘succeeding.’ Crisis Rooms adventures are monitored by security cameras, allowing us to easily assist you if you have any difficulties.
-
Q?
Where can I put my belongings?
-
A.
We prefer that you leave extra items in your cars but you are welcome to bring things into the room with you. We recommend that you keep track of your items like purses and backpacks. If you put them down in the rooms, tell everyone there that it’s yours. You wouldn’t want someone to think it is part of the adventure and pull everything out of it.

If you are more than fifteen minutes late, your booking will automatically be cancelled. All sales are final. Our game is a live event, so once a booking is confirmed, refunds and cancellations are not accepted.
-
Q?
How long are your adventures?
-
A.
Our Crisis Rooms Adventures are approximately 60 minutes, including our Challenge Rooms. Your actual time in our adventures will all depend on the skill of the group and their ability to communicate with each other. The maximum time to complete a room is 60 minutes; however the minimum time is entirely up to you, and the faster the better! That's how you get your team on our Leader Board! Prior to the experience, plan to spend 5 to 10 minutes in a group briefing session. After the experience plan for 5 to 15 minutes of walk through where we will explain all the puzzles and how the room worked.
-
Q?
What if we are stuck during a game and run out of ideas?
-
A.
Our games are indeed very challenging! You are encouraged to ask us for hints when needed by speaking clearly in the room. We can see and hear you and will give you clues when asked.
-
Q?
Can I bring in more people once I’ve made a booking?
-
A.
Yes, as long as your total booking doesn’t exceed the maximum number of players. For example, if you booked for 4 people and another friend decided to join on the day of, the difference can be paid on arrival as long as there is still space available.
-
Q?
What is the appropriate age for the adventures?
-
A.
You must be at least 8 years old to play. Our escape games are designed for persons over the age of 10. Participants who are 10 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times, under 12 an adult is recommended. Our age limit is more about being able to understand puzzles. Puzzles and clues will be more difficult for younger children (Although, sometimes young children see a puzzle in a way that an adult can’t. Giving them a unique perspective.) We design the rooms to be a challenge. However, they are not designed to be scary in any way. All participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or adult chaperone. Yes, we do allow mothers to complete our escape rooms while carrying babies in slings. We simply ask that you exit the room if your baby begins to cry and disrupt the experience for other guests.
-
Q?
Are your adventures scary? Will anyone jump out and scare us?
-
A.
Yes and no. Our rooms are designed to be challenging and "immersive". If you are in the living room of a serial killer then it will probably have a degree of "scary-ness", although no one will ever jump out at you. We use high-tech props and complex multi-chamber rooms, however there will not be anyone in the room with you besides your team. If you have any concerns please call us.
-
Q?
Do I need to bring anything?
-
A.
You don’t need to bring anything special. Everything you need is found in the rooms. Casual, comfortable clothing is highly recommended.
-
Q?
Will there be other people in the room with me?
-
A.
The group maximum size for each of our Crisis Rooms is 8 people. The Challenge rooms can have a maximum of 6 people per room but since these are two identical room we can do teams of 6 to total 12 people. If your group less than the maximum size additional team members may be added. You can reserve the rooms as a private group, but you would need to purchase all of the tickets available to have the entire room for yourselves.
-
Q?
Are the rooms handicapped accessible?
-
A.
The short answer is yes. If you are concerned about handicap access for a member of your group, please contact the Crisis Rooms team in advance so we can address any concerns. We want everyone to enjoy the experience!
-
Q?
How challenging are your rooms?
-
A.
Everything you need to be successful is in the rooms. It’s really up to you. Teams will need to use their minds and communication skills to be successful. That said, our escape rooms wouldn’t be fun and rewarding without a challenge! If you and your team are not able to complete the room in the allotted time, we encourage you to come back and test your wits against one of our other rooms.
-
Q?
My team is super eager to try a Crisis Room and we have arrived early! Can we start earlier?
-
A.
We love your enthusiasm! However, we have a tight schedule and do need to start at the correct time. If your team arrives early, you will need to wait in the lobby until we have finished resetting the room.
